As I suspected the hardest thing about the Waste Free Week Challenge is how to reduce the amount of packaging that comes into the house. (Why is everything wrapped in plastic?)
One item I know I don’t have to worry about any more is my meat. Sam the butcher from Marewa Butchery is happy to use the old brown paper packaging. When I get home I just slip what I want to freeze into, you guessed it, a reused plastic container.
